The Team behind HotBox are about to launch a new restaurant…Chuck Burger!

Yup – that’s right – June could not come sooner if you ask me.

As avid readers of The Burp you’ll know we’ve had a lengthy romance with HotBox, a full blown relationship you could say, albeit one sided – so in our eyes they can do no wrong!

Having previously traded at Street Feast’s Hawker House Chuck Burger is going permanent. Launching just down the road from HotBox they will be bringing their signature burgers and renowned wings (placing 2nd in London’s Wing Fest in 2015) to east London.

We were relieved to hear that the Spitalfields restaurant will still feature our old favourite – their standout spicy Devil Burger – ‘a 28-day aged chuck steak patty topped with charred jalapenos, American cheese, grilled red onions, sriracha mayo and topped with a green jalapeno sauce’.

New burgers are to be introduced too…

The Hot-Ox, topped with a slow cooked spicy oxtail chilli, American cheese, onions, pickles and a chipotle mayo. We can’t wait to get our chops around this…

We’ve also heard whispers of their Seoul Burger – a crispy buttermilk fried chicken burger with Korean hot sauce and kimchi slaw – one word, WOW!

The wings definitely need to get a mention too after their narrow defeat…

Also get ready for loaded fries with homemade nacho sauce and pancetta bacon bits, Mac n’ Cheese balls plus a rotation of American style desserts such as Key Lime Pie…all set within a renovated classic east end London cafe.

Have to say we can barely contain our excitement about this opening, we would definitely trade that (non-existent) summer bod for just one bite!
